About the C/F Data Team
Founder
Dennis Coleman
Dennis began his business career at IBM after graduating from Boston College. During his five years at IBM, he received an MBA from Babson College. Dennis left IBM to become a principal in a facilities management company that ran the IT departments of several mid-size businesses. In 1979, he founded C/F Data Systems. C/F Data was engaged in general program development and consulting in its early years, at the same time that the company developed a software solution for the construction industry. Dennis has been involved in all functional areas of the company and continues to be a guiding force in helping to shape its direction.
Dennis participates in several community activities, including SHINE-Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Elders, Horace Mann School for the Deaf and Boston By Foot. He is an avid golfer and is on the Board of his Golf Club. Dennis and his wife Ann reside in Saco, ME and Naples, FL where they enjoy their water front living. They have two daughters and two grandsons.
President
Eric Goldstein
Eric graduated from Bentley University in 1983 with a degree in Marketing Management. He began his sales career at ADP, where he was exposed to accounting system sales and a number of industries. In 1985, he joined the C/F Data System sales department and was quickly promoted to Vice President of Sales. In 2003, he left the company to pursue an opportunity to sell Timberline software with a local distributor. Eric was hailed as one of the top producers in the Timberline channel. In 2008, he joined Textura, another company with software products that complement the construction industry. After seeing how other companies operate and treat their customers, Eric realized what he had at C/F Data and returned as its President.
Eric is active in many trade associations including the Construction Financial Management Association and the Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts. Born and raised in Massachusetts, he is an avid cyclist and skier and plays on several softball teams. He also enjoys watching his three sons compete in athletic events, including his middle son, Andrew, who is a professional Ultimate player currently playing for the Chicago Wildfire. Eric and his wife Amy reside in Needham, MA.
Vice President of Operations
Marilyn Kelland
As Vice President of Operations, Marilyn Kelland takes on many duties to ensure the company runs smoothly. Marilyn works closely with all departments: Support, Development, QA, and Sales.
After using C/F Data at an electrical contractor for seven years she made her way to the C/F Data family in November of 1994. Over the years she has come to know the system inside and out, specializing in the needs of the flooring contractors and new development.
When not working Marilyn can be found in one of three places, the golf course, the bowling alley, or her sewing room.
Vice President of Sales
Vic Hansen
As the Vice President of Sales, Vic is the company’s go-to man when potential customers need a guided tour through STRUCTURE Blue, and he assists them in selecting the software that works best for their business. Since he started back in January of 2012, Vic has built a strong general knowledge of all aspects of the STRUCTURE Blue and has become particularly skilled in navigating customers through Project Management, Works Orders, and Dispatch.
Outside of work, Vic is involved in Freemasonry, and is dedicated to serving his community. He lives in his hometown of Plymouth, Massachusetts where he loves to spend time with his family. In his free time, Vic enjoys taking his family out in the jeep and traveling to new places.

John Rapaport
John A. Rapaport, Esq. is the Chief Contracting Officer (CCO) and General Counsel (GC) for Component Assembly Systems, Inc./Component West, a national wall and ceiling specialty subcontractor with offices in New York, Boston, New Jersey, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Maryland, Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco. John graduated from the University of Michigan Honors Program with a B.A. in History in 1986. Thereafter, he received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1989. After practicing construction law, John joined Component in 1991, a firm founded by his father Lew in 1964 and where he remains the company’s Chairman and CEO. John spearheaded the company’s efforts to digitize and modernize its technology infrastructure. Through his vision, the company was able to develop its own award winning proprietary software known as CASim, now in its fourth version, which tracks and update progress on its projects using the latest technologies. John serves on the New York City Bar Association's Construction Law Committee and The University of Michigan's Honors Alumni Council, among many groups. He is a Member of the Bars of Massachusetts, New York, and Washington, D.C..
Co-Managing Member
John Lord
John Lord is the Chief Information Officer of Component Assembly Systems, a leading Commercial Interior Specialty Contractor with offices throughout the United States. John is a Mechanical Engineer graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as well as having gained certifications in various construction disciplines such as his LEED AP professional designation. As co managing partner at CF Data Systems, John is involved in all aspects of the company as well as applying his analytics background to develop the next generation of Contractor Financial Software and beyond. When John is not caught up in meetings, he enjoys spending time with his family preferably out on the Great Lakes.
